1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of the TIME Educators Conference website and online services operated by Ghana International School. By using the website or submitting a form, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.
2. Registration information
You must provide information that is accurate, current and complete. If registering a school group or providing details about another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and have informed that person about the registration and our Privacy Policy.
A submitted form or pending payment does not guarantee admission. Registration is confirmed only when any required payment is successfully verified and confirmation is issued by us.
3. Payments
Payments are processed through Paystack. You must use a payment method you are authorised to use. We may investigate, refuse or cancel a registration associated with suspected fraud, an incorrect payment amount, a reversed transaction or misuse of a coupon. Refunds and cancellations are addressed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Programme changes
Published speakers, sessions, rooms, times, delivery modes and other programme details may change for operational, safety or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes. Session capacity may be limited, and selection does not always guarantee a place in a particular session.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- submit false, unlawful, defamatory, infringing or malicious material;
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, records, payment references or administrative areas;
- interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission; or
- use another person’s certificate, registration identifier, coupon or personal data without authority.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, branding, conference materials and designs belong to GIS or their respective owners. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial conference use. Session materials remain subject to the rights and conditions specified by their authors.
7. Credentials
Public credential pages are provided to verify certificates. Verification content must not be altered, misrepresented or used to imply a qualification or endorsement beyond what the certificate states. We may revoke or correct credentials issued in error or obtained through misrepresentation.
8. External services
Links and embedded services operated by third parties are provided for convenience. We do not control their availability, security, content or terms. Your use of those services is governed by the relevant provider.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, GIS is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Suspension and changes
We may restrict access, reject submissions or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or breach of these terms. We may update these terms, with the current version published on this page.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Questions or disputes should first be sent to timeconference@gis.edu.gh so that we can try to resolve them promptly.
